MODEL at centre, 6.811g, 12h (Giordano T23.1; Dyer, "Proposed Coinage of Edward VIII", p. 22; Goldberg Auction 69, 29 May 2012, lot 4864 [NGC MS62] = DNW 90, 9 December 2010, lot 742; Buckland, Dix and Wood, Auction 1, lot 186 - "possibly unique"), minor surface marks and colourful tone overlying lustrous, original surfaces, one of three examples known, of great numismatic significance, not least in the context of King Edward VIII's personal frustration with the 'Threepenny bit'
