PER x CRVCE x TVA x SALVA x NOS x XPE' REDEMPT, saltire stops, ship surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing E and Rose, m.m. pierced cross and pellet, 5.07g [78.2grns], 9h (BM 2021T974 = PAS NARC-0F0A9A no. 2 this coin; Schneider I, 465; North 1626; Spink 2091), minor traces of doubling to legend and subtle crimping to peripheries of flan, otherwise an attractively broad striking on a full flan, the key devices pleasingly bold and uniform, good very fine, scarce thus and with an interesting pedigree
