Typed Letter Signed Winston Churchill. 1 page on home stationary (Chartwell, Westerham, Kent), 2nd October 1935 to Churchill's good friend and associate Max Aitken, Lord Beaverbrook. Churchill writes My dear Max, in ink, in his hand, and in the following typed missive asks for help in tracing articles he wrote in order to republish, notably one on Kitchener and one on Lenin - 'A monster descending from a pile of skulls'. Churchill signs below in ink. Very Fine. Matted with a museum quality B&W photograph of Beaverbrook and Churchill on board the "Prince of Wales", August 1941, and framed, 15 1/3 x 31 ½".
