Defiant soldier left, fist raised, guarding England's shores, tempestuous waves and squadron of enemy airplanes before - adapted from Sir David Low's famed cartoon published in 1940 in the Evening Standard following the evacuation from Dunkirk and the beginning of the Battle of Britain; "VERY WELL ALONE" in ex.
