Hercules with the Slain Dragon Ladon and the Apples of the Hesperides. Rectangular plaquette. Bronze, 129 x 95mm. Hercules right, holding a thin club, leaning forward to complete his 11th Labor and take golden apples from the tree before him, the slain dragon Ladon at his feet. Possibly unique and unpublished. Red ink inventory number "37" on back. An Extremely Fine contemporary cast. Ex Schuler Auktionen, Sale 133 (Zurich), June 21, 2014.
