A Pair of Virtues. Oval plaquettes. Cast Bronze. 65.7 x 79.3mm and 64.9 x 79.3. Prudence. Draped Prudence, one breast exposed, stands facing, head left, holding a coiled serpent; Temperance. Draped Temperance, stands facing, leaning on a column and pointing to a jar. Apparently unpublished. From a set of Virtues. Both pierced. Rich, dark brown patina. Extremely Fine.
