Ferdinand (1503-1564), Holy Roman Emperor 1558. Medal, 1558. Uniface. Bronze, 35.8mm. FERDINAND.ROM.IMP.ELECTVS, Bare-headed bust right. Donebauer 1023; Markl 2064; Domanig 613. The medal was made after Ferdinand's election as emperor in 1558 and before the death of Emperor Charles V a few months later. An Extremely Fine old cast.
