Ancient India. Vidarbha. Punchmarked coinage. Trio of AR ½ Karshapana, ca. 5th-4th Century BC. 1.66 gms. Elephant left, multi-armed whorl with annulet and pellets twice, and three taurine around annulet; 1.74 gms. Elephant right, crescent with six pellets and six-armed symbol twice; 1.63 gms. Elephant left double crescent above, turtle-like creature, four crescents and pellets around annulet twice. All with some light earthen green deposits. Very Fine. (3)
