Imperial Russia A Silver Table Box by Faberge. Moscow, 1908-1916; Workmaster: Alexander Wäkevä. 6 1/8 x 3 ¾", 1 ½" high. 17.26 OZ. Obverse of the 1855 Centennial of Moscow University Silver Medal (Lomonosov and Shuvalov presenting the Charter of Moscow University to Empress Elizabeth) set in the lid; dark- orange cut stone or glass release. Faberge hallmark, Moscow silver mark "Cyrillic D(head right)84", plume/wheatsheaf mark and workmaster's initials "A.W." inside lid and again on bottom. "2376" etched below Faberge hallmark on bottom. Hairlines on bottom.
