The Robert P Ball Cabinet of Ancient Coins | Attica, Athens, AR Tetradrachm, c. 440-404 BC, (Mid-Mass Coinage Issue), head of Athena right, wearing earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll, rev. AOE owl standing right, head facing, olive sprig with two leaves and one berry, crescent moon behind, all within incuse square, 11h (Kroll 8; SNG Copenhagen, 31-40; HGC 4, 1597), lightly toned with some hairline scratches in fields, otherwise in high relief, almost extremely fine, albeit of somewhat untidy appearance
