Judaea, First Romano-Jewish War (66-70 CE), 'Year Two' AR Shekel, April 67 - March 68, Jerusalem, Paleo-Hebrew legends around Omer cup with beads and pearled rim, the base is raised by projections on ends, rev. "Jerusalem the holy" in Paleo-Hebrew, staff with three pomegranate buds, 14.14g, 11h (Hendin 1358; TJC 193; AJC 8), a small striking split at obverse 7 o'clock, and an attractive if unnatural bluish-green retoned to fields, otherwise boldly struck and pleasingly uniform, good very fine, and immensely desirable
