George V (1910-1936), Christmas 'Wreath' Crown, 1936, by B Mackennal and Kruger Gray, bare head left, rev. crown within wreath, milled edge, 28.24g, 12h (ESC ), lightly contact marked and with a spot of verdigris to beard, otherwise lustrous, extremely fine, an immensely popular date in this short-lived series on account of its posthumous striking for the late King, and only official publicised Crown for the reign of Edward VIII
