China. Republic. Dollar, year 9 (1920). Hainan issue of 1949. Yuan Shih-kai bust left. The Hainan issue is significantly different than the Central mint original 1920 issue. The obverse and reverse devices - bust, wreath and the lettering are different and can be described as flat, mushy and a bit blurry; the lustre is also different. L&M 77var. NGC MS 63.
