Jugate busts of Louis XVI, wearing the Order of the Golden Fleece, and Marie Antoinette, wearing a jeweled robe and necklace, signed below; LUTETIA in ex., rev. The royal couple standing left, Marie Antoinette holding a pomegranate, and Louis extending his hand to the mural-crowned Lutetia who kneels before them and points to a richly laden table; Industry kneels left behind the couple, holding a caduceus and cornucopiae. Plain edge. Very rare. Small edge cut at 11:00 and some surface marks typical of these large heavy medals. Extremely Fine.
