Macedon, Philip II (359-336 BC), AR Tetradrachm, 354-348 BC, Pella, laureate and bearded head of Zeus right, rev. horse and rider right, holding palm branch, starburst between hooves, 2h a small edge chip on an irregular flan, traces of die cudding to reverse field, otherwise of superb fabric, beautifully centred and uniformly struck up, the fields accentuated by bluish tone, almost extremely fine / good very fine, scarce in this condition
