The small gold box with fine engine turning, reeded borders and oval glass mounted painted cartouche of a nude lady reading. Possible later repairs to paintwork. Tests for 14 carat gold. Clip hinge lid with raised gold mounted blue cabochon sapphire button. Rubbed hallmarks. Length 8.6cm. Width 5.7cm. Depth 1.2cm. Weight 116.8g.
