Austro-Hungarian Noble's Silver and Ivory Tea Pot and Silver Sugar Bowl. By Stephan Mayerhofer and Carl Klinkosch, Vienna, 1853. Tea Pot: 6 ¾" high. 11.32 OZ. Sugar bowl: nearly 2" high, diameter: 3". 4.49 OZ. Both engraved with floral pattern and crowned wolf's teeth Báthory Arms and crowned arms of another noble family in cartouche. Tea pot with stylish ivory handle and top stem, the bowl with stylized dolphin handles. Viennese cross-shield hallmark with silver fineness 13 loth (.812) and date 1-8-5-3 and maker's initials "M & K" -- near silver arm of handle and body of tea pot and bottom of base of sugar bowl. Well-preserved. (2)
