Nike seated facing, head ¾ left, holding laurel crown above phoenix rising from flames, Acropolis in the background, rev. Olympics legend and date 1906 soldered over the old 1896 plaque within wreath. The 1906 medals were manufactured from unused 1896 Athens Olympics participants medals. Small edge ding at top and some tiny edge nicks. Extremely Fine.
