France. Third Republic. Homage to Stéphane Dervillé -- Turin Expo, 1912. Bronze plaque, 65 x 90mm. By Denys Puech. Bust right, rev. Fifteen-line legend, view of the 1911 Turin Expo set in the clouds with crossed torch and caduceus and shields below. Dervillé owned marble quarries which supplied specialized marble for art works. He was awarded a gold medal at Turin in 1911 for his exhibition of raw materials. He was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Paris-Lyon Railway, President of the Commerical Court of the Seine, a diplomat, and served as the Deputy Director of the 1900 Paris World Expo.
