Two standing figures, wearing tunics, each holding long cross topped by cross pommée in one hand and jointly a long cross between them, rev. Crested monster, with pellet outline, left looking back, claws beneath, tail raised. N.98 var, S.806, Abramson Th 5, group 52, var 40, p. 142. Some minor obverse corrosion, and very light reverse pitting. Very sharp and pleasing reverse. Toned. About VF/EF. Ex Spink Sale, Dec. 2, 2015, lot 908.
