William III (1694-1702), Sixpence, 1700, third laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, plume below, rev. crowned shields cruciform, late harp with five strings, angles plain, edge obliquely milled, 3.01g, 5h (Spink 3548; ESC 1253 [1580]; Hoblyn [1877], 355/20; Clarkson [1901] 257[b] = Morrieson [1933] 790; Hamilton-Smith [1927] 464 = Clarke-Thornhill [1937] 648 this coin; Bole 1706), an outstanding example of this exceptional rarity, beautifully cabinet toned, extremely fine and conceivably the finest known, in NGC 'Francis' holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #5878644-006)
