Pair of Finely Carved Chinese Rosewood Masks. Ca. 1920-1930s. Decorative, for wall hanging. Each approximately 8" wide, 11" high. Representing two of the Eight Immortals of the Taoist pantheon. Both with elaborate headdresses with mythic creature and dragons. The dragons and creature with bone teeth, wide-eyed mask with resin eyes bone resin. Open eyed mask with small chip to central headdress, close eyed with chip to back of dragon on left and small wax residue. (2)
