Includes: Benjamin Franklin - Wearing fur hat, wearing fur hat and reading pamphlet, facing wearing great coat with fur collar, cameo portrait, bare-headed bespectacled ¾ right, uncut title page of "The Life and Writings of Benjamin Franklin tied with Native Americans at cooking fire with angel descending; Chief Justice Tilghman's residence on Chestnut St, a laureate Thomas Jefferson, view of New Market and Shippen Sts, Philadelphia 1787, General Sherman, an equestrian Lafayette, Lincoln standing left wearing stovepipe hat, copy of the signatures on the Declaration of Independence; French satirical Pilori Éternel color plates No. 1 and 2, Feb. 1871 on the Siege of Paris - "Qui ????", "La Bouteille a l'Encre"; and small color 1884 folio GAR - woman and child, troops marching "One Missing". Mostly with foxing, spotting and/or edge tears in margins not affecting engravings themselves. [16]
