Mary Russell Mitford (English author and dramatist) (1787-1855) - autograph letter signed, portion cut from larger letter (remaining piece approximately 3.6"x4.4"), showing signature M.R. Mitford at bottom, with accompanying envelope showing the recipient as W.C. Bennett of London, likely the poet William Cox Bennett, who was a close friend of Mitford's. Scarce.
