Andrew Carnegie (American business magnate) (1835-1919) - autograph letter signed, on bifolium stationery with embossed address of Two East Ninety-First Street, New York, beginning "my dear friend" and noting that he is enclosing a copy of a speech for the recipient's reflections, signed "ever yours, Andrew Carnegie" One of the richest Americans in history, Carnegie was also a noted philanthropist, founding, among others, the Carnegie Library and building Carnegie Hall in New York City. A desirable signature of one of American's most iconic business figures.
