Italy. Infantry Cartouche (Powder Pouch). Ca. WWI or perhaps earlier. Black faced, silver edged metal case with large crowned eagle with Arms on breast, two belt ornaments. Rare. Minor staining and fraying of embroidered cloth on belt, old paper collector label inside cartouche. Overall About Very Fine; also 19th Century Leather Cartouche. Silver monogram on black lid, and crowned silver monogram in wreath on black leather belt. Fine. Ex Hammatt Collection. (2)
