Rifle Brigade Tunic of Brig. General Charles Granville Fortescue, CB, CMG, DSO. Small. Dark navy, near black with dark gray facings and frogging. Fortescue (1861-1951) was present in the Anglo-Burmese War, then was stationed in the Gold Coast, during expedition to Karaga was mentioned in dispatches, appointed CMG; served in the Second Boer War and World War I, mentioned in dispatches; appointed CB 1911, and Brigadier General 1912. Moderate wear.
