Cooper as President, derricks and tanks at top, text in English and French black, green underprint, with coupons. Formed in 1901 just after the Spindletop discovery. Out of business by 1903 and stock worthless. Samuel Cooper was State Representative and appointed in 1910 as member of the Board of General Appraisers by President Taft. Scarce type issued for the French market. AEF.
