Ex Libris Nottingham Free Public Libraries, University College, with ink stamps and inside cover paper notices. Second Jesuit edition (emended and corrected) based on the text of the third London edition of Principia. This version is much prized for its annotations and extensive commentary, and for the inclusion of treatises on the theory of tides by Daniel Bernoulli, Colin MacLaurin and Leonardo Euler. Very minor scuffs to covers, occasional browning. A Very Good and sound Set of this important work.
