Great Britain. Experimental Cavalry Trooper's Sword, ca. 1850. Solid bowl hilt with single slit and two punch holes, blackened metal grip with three ridges. Single fullered, 35" blade. Stamped "12" on hilt, otherwise no markings. Minor scuff to hilt. No scabbard. Rare.
