Russian Icon. "Old Believers". Ca. 1880. Tempera on wood with central inset ornate brass patriarchal cross. 13 x 15 3/8". Nimbate worshippers flank inset cross, Saints in side panels, sun and moon above. Pleasing folkloric style. Shponki top and bottom on back. Slight chipping of tempera at corners, otherwise well-preserved.
