Russian Icon. Saint Mavra and Saint Sergius of Radonezh. Ca. 1825. Tempera on wood, single, shallow kovcheg. 10 7/8 x 12 ½". St. Mavra at left facing, holding patriarchal cross, St. Sergius facing ¾ left, his hand on his breast, holding scroll. Slots on back for shponki, but no support slats. A Very detailed work. Small scuff top right edge, otherwise Choice.
