Japanese Bronze Figure of a Crane, Fish Pipe in beak. Late 19th-20th Century. 8 ½" height. Crane standing on rocks -- turtle, waves and seaweed around base -- head reverted holding a fish-tailed pipe in its beak. Two piece construction - crane detachable from junction of its legs and feet. Signed in Japanese characters bottom of base. Fine workmanship.
