Check, San Francisco Feb. 12, 1872 for interest on deposit signed by William Chapman Ralston (1826-1875), the San Francisco businessman and financier who founded the Bank of California. Ralston signs "W.C. Ralston" in large, fluid hand bottom right. Tiny number penciled in top right corner. Very Fine.
