U.S. Army A.C. Navigation Master Watch, Hamilton . Circa WWII. Housed in Army issued metal canister. Sits in nest of springs and cushions to protect from vibrations on airplane. Engraved on back, "Navigation Master Watch MFRS Part No. 3992B Serial No. 1795-1942 Hamilton Watch Co." Also included 24-hour dial face, with 2 gears for converting Hamilton 22 jewel movement into 24-hour system. Some chips to outside canister. 49 mm. Case diameter: 3 ¾ in.
