1820-21 "The Second Tour of Doctor Syntax" and "The third Tour of Doctor Syntax" ("In Search of a Life, A Poem") incomplete series in absence of one volume, published in London by R. Ackermann with cover featuring tan leather with gilt edge decoration which is cracked and rubbed. Dozens of colored aquatints by the caricaturist Thomas Rowlandson (1765-1827). Some edge toning and one cover detached in the "Third Tour", otherwise good.
