Judaica. 1791 document denoting the employment of Jewish spies in Germany. Manuscript statement on white paper indicating the fees paid by French Marshal Kellermann to spies originating from Landau, and sent to German territories, including the Palatinate. The fees, paid from April 17 to 27, 1791 are registered in seven entries, of which five refer to Jews, the first one reading: "...sent to see what is going on on the Rhine, at Worms". Very interesting and rare. Very fine.
