Napoleonic Era in Italy, assembly comprising eight documents, including one concerning a passport to Joseph La Hoz comanding the Lombardy troops with "République Lombarde/La République, ou la mort" heading; 1806 letter written in Chiavari by General Vabre with orders to garnisons in order to concentrate them in Varese; letter headed "Liberta', Eguaglianza, Democrazia, o Morte" sent localli; 1796 letter by Saliceti, Commissioner of the French Revolutionary Army in Italy, written in Castiglione during the siege of Mantua and about two weeks before the victory of Castiglione, sent to the "Ordonateur en Chef" Lambert with interesting contents; four letters with "Departements Conquis" markings including the following senders: General Alex Lameth and General Governor of Tuscany Menou.
