A Silver Art Nouveau Pendant Brooch
The large oval pendant brooch inlaid with iridescent mother of pearl and mounted with four pale amethysts of varying sizes. Further decorated with a flying swallow between rays, a turtle, decorative scrolling and surmounted by a mermaid. Pendant clasp stamped '925'. Diameter 105mm. Later lever-pin clasp attached to the reverse to convert to a brooch. Some damage to the mother of pearl on the reverse.
