A Victorian Turquoise and Gold Mourning Brooch
The oval bar brooch, with raised bombe turquoise cabochon cluster, surrounded by wirework and tapered beads terminating in a scroll at both sides. Glass hair locket on the reverse filled with silk. Possibly converted from a pendant. Later fastening pin. Partially rubbed hallmarks. Tests for 14K gold. Length 4.8cm.
