Great Britain. Highlander's Dirk. Late 19th-early 20th Century. By R.G. Lawrie, Glasgow & Edinburgh. Black wood carved hilt with basket dressing and silver studs, pommel of the dirk, fork and knife set with Cairngorm stones 11 ¾" saw-backed blade with two fullers, maker's name, leather scabbard with silver mounts, "Lawrie 60 Renfield St. Glasgow" on back of top mount. Cleaning, stropping marks on blade, adhesive remnant on back of mount. A Fine dirk.
