Ethiopia. Korean War Medal. 'Court' size, 52 x 67mm. Silvered White Medal. Trilobe. Emperor Haile Selassie at center, lion head below, crown above. The Ethiopian Army sent one infantry battalion, drawn from the Imperial Guard, to Korea - the 1st, 2nd and third Kagnew Battalion (the fourth arrived after the ceasefire) with a total of 3,518 combat personnel. The Ethiopian battalion never ceded a inch of ground nor was a single Ethiopian soldier captured by the enemy. Rare. No riband. Extremely Fine.
