Hand-colored crowned Order matched with royal Arms on frontispage; hand-colored Cornwallis Arms, helmed and supported by stags on following page along with long list of Charles Cornwallis' titles and posts: "Du Très-noble et Puissant Prince CHARLES Marquis Comte et Baron CORNWALLIS, Vicomte BROME, et Baronet: Général aux Armées de Sa Majesté et Colonel du 33me. Regiment d'Infanterie….." 59 pages, marbled endpages, dark blue covers. Some neat pencil notations on frontispages. A rare and unique item of one of the best-known British generals in the American War of Independence. A Fine book.
