Denmark. Order of the Dannebrog - Dannebrogordenen. Commander's Set. Christian IX (1863-1906). Copenhagen, 1888. Neck Badge. 40 x 79mm (with crown suspender). Gilt Silver, gold applique, white and red enamels. Copenhagen three towers mark with date "88" (second digit a little unclear but appears to be '8') on riband loop. On riband; Breast Cross. 58 x 73mm. Silver, gold appliques on "asterisk"-scaled central cross, gold-bordered outer cross, red enamel. Two-prong pinback. In A. Michelsen, Copenhagen case (lid separated) with crowned D on cover. Extremely Fine. A handsome set.
