An unusual French map of Australia; longitude lines measured from the Paris meridian. Vignette of Aborigine at lower left, his canoe emblazoned OCÉANIQUE CENTRALE, with a trio of antipodean marsupials - kangaroo, wombat and platypus. Framed, 14 5/8 x 11 ¾". Minor age toning in margins. About Very Good.
