A Group of Eight Mostly Portrait Vignettes. Perhaps from an engraver's scrapbook. Proofs printed directly on cards, or India paper on card. Subjects include Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, a small card with text only ("Mr. D. Walter Steel"), a small train vignette, probably used on a stock certificate coupon, and others. One vignette is signed "Danforth, Bald & Co." Three are quite decent, but the rest are foxed to some degree. Should be seen. Sold as is, no returns.
