Great Britain. Norfolk Regiment Officer's 1902 Pattern Helmet. Black cloth body topped by brass spike with cruciform mount with rose bosses, cloth-backed chin straps secured by rose side fittings. Brass regimental frontplate with king's crown, plain rear spine. Tan leather sweat band, red cloth interior band, both fully intact. Maker's tag inside: F.A. Stone & Sons, Helmet, Army Cap and Accoutrement Makers, with original size label "6 5/8". Scuff to the body near back. Fine, and overall pleasing.
