Romania. Order of the Star of Romania. Grand Officer's Set with Swords. By Paul Telge, Berlin. Type I (1877). Neck Badge. 63mm across. Silver, light gilt, and enamels. Silver eagle on red, motto around on blue, outer green wreath set on blue enameled cross with rays in angles. Crossed swords and crown suspender above. Breast Star. 89mm. Silver, gilt and enamels. Badge types, crossed swords behind, set on radiant, brilliant cut plaque. Maker's name on back. In original case with the cipher of Carol I on the lid. Light loss to central blue enamel on cross and abrasions to the blue on two of the cross' back arms. Otherwise Good Very Fine.
