German States. Bavaria. Order of Military Merit. 4th Class Badge. 41mm (not including crown suspender). Silver, gold letters and enamels. Crowned gold "L "monogram against black at center of medallion, blue-enameled cross, flames in angles, crossed swords above. Bavarian lion, "1866" on back medallion. Fineness "950" and maker's mark "J.L." back of crown band. Abrasion to bottom front and top back cross enamel. Very Fine.
