Thirty Illustrations to Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, in Facsimile of the Original Drawings. No date (1840's). "IN THE POSSESSION OF WILLIAM LEAF, ESQ. OF PARK HILL, STREATHAM." 2pp. 30 colored plates. 54 x 42 cm. Gold lettered red leatherette cover, binding repaired. The colored plates are well preserved. "Only 75 Copies printed," at the bottom of the title page. Joseph Nash 1809-1878 was an English watercolor painter and lithographer, best known for his 4-volume "Mansions of England in the Olden Time." An impressive and very scarce volume.
